It is important to us at Covington Community Church to extend God's grace to our neighbor and to bring the light and life of Christ where we can. Here is a glimpse of some of the community ministries & services we support:


THE STOREHOUSE [ COVINGTON’S FOOD BANK ]

We work with other Covington-area churches to provide food to local families who need assistance. We collect food, supplies and volunteer serving at The Storehouse [go to covingtonstorehouse.org for more info].


Backpack Buddies

In Partnership with The Storehouse and other community partners Covington Community Church is glad to be apart of a weekend food program for school kids. For those who wish to assist see the below document and contact the church office


HOMELESS SUPPORT

We assist local families & individuals who need a meal, provide health/hygiene items for KentHOPE in Kent [women & children's day shelter - kenthope.org for more info] and Seattle’s Union Gospel Mission [men's shelter - ugm.org for more info].


RECOVERY/SUPPORT GROUPS

We provide space for a Recovery/Support Group who meet in our facility. This group meets Sundays 7:00 PM in the Basement Multi-Purpose Room. (Enter through outside doors on parking lot side of building.)

 


MISSIONS

We support special projects Nigeria.


GRIEF SHARE SUPPORT GROUP

Grief share is a Christian based series to help those needing to find their way through grief with compassion and empathy in a small private group setting.
 Our current group is starting on Tues. September 9 @5:30-7PM and it will run for 13 weeks. 
Your group leaders are: Jodie Sheldon & Pamela Talley
There is a $15 cost for the workbook that you get to keep all your notes and thoughts in for future reference and to look back on how far you have come!
